A Year of Days - Day 308: The only sign of life...

I had to attend a meeting of the Parish Pastoral Committee tonight, held in a neighbouring town and, as usual, I picked up our local priest - Père Fernand - from Paimpont's Presbytery in the Abbey so that we could travel together. When I dropped him off just after 10pm, the entire village was in darkness - the only sign of life was the bar Le Brécilien, and even there I caught the last client leaving. A couple of months ago it would have been packed until the early hours, but the Summer visitors are gone and the locals are early to bed.

Green hour?

After serving in the Army and everything being painted or dyed green I hated the colour green. But for some odd reason I am starting to like it again! Gives the building an alien feel. Fav!
