PLAY Feb - Fuji 18mm f/2: Paimpont Lake looking East

Surprisingly, given the number of images of the lake that I've posted on here, this is a view that I haven't shown before as it's taken from underneath the north facing end of the Abbey.

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for February it's the Fujinon 18mm f/2 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-Pro1) - the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera.

This is also for the Flash of Red 2017 challenge.

I like this best on black... but then don't I always!
Great pov and sky in this shot.

I like the composition. The edges of the lake form leading lines to the bright part of the picture. Or am I over-analyzing?

Your shooting is interesting but for people who do not know the abbey they wonder if you are not hidden to spy on the home of a great owner, you are the paparazzi of the priest!

Rather bleak on that small strip of vegetation and only a slip from a considerable wetting. Novel POV.

Clouds make it for me -- great lineal aspect.

Just don't get so excited to show a new view that you fall in.

Beautiful image and use of the lake and bank leading one deep into
the photo towards the Abby. Great tones, textures and detail
