PLAY March - Fuji 60mm f/2.4: Space Station

When the most exciting thing you can find to photograph is two giant reels of mains water distribution piping, a little post-processing indulgence is perhaps allowable!

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera. It's also a good example of the sort of subject that you shouldn't tackle with this focal length

Pops splendidly on black!
Geez, I really like this! It is sort of space-stationesque Great use of the otherwise mundane objects.

ROFL Commenting beat the hell out of shoveling snow. But unfortunately shoveling is a necessity. Then Rufus - now MSI seems to be unable to limp along with out me and my pocket book loves the extra cash.

Stepping out of our comfort box, can be both good and bad, I personally like the play on light that you've achieved here. You did good!

I think that you saw something that many people would have walked by without taking a second look and found the right perspective and created a very interesting image! FAV!
