PLAY April - Fuji 27mm f/2.8: Farmer's Dozen? by vignouse

PLAY April - Fuji 27mm f/2.8: Farmer's Dozen?

Eleven young bullocks, in a field not far from us, being fattened for market. I took to wondering if a Baker's Dozen is one more... whether a Farmer's Dozen is one less?

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for April it's the Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-T10) - the equivalent of a 40mm lens on a full-frame camera.
They were looking at you rather intently...

They are certainly interested in what you're up to! Fun capture to see them all peering at the camera.

They can be so curious

I agree with Northland Gal, a curious lot.

I think they may be planning something...

What I love is not one is looking away.

Whilst you shoot bullocks, last week I was lying in a ditch, accompanied by Mitzi, talking to the heifers who had assembled at the fence, more closely grouped than these, spellbound. I talk to them every time I go past...and when they see me they come at a dash. Great fun!

@s4sayer Oh they came right up up me and I have some big close-ups... but I got fed-up photo-shopping the flies off their noses!

They were interested in you. Every head is turned your way.
