PLAY April - Fuji 27mm f/2.8: Kitchen Drama...

...but it will be tidy before the visitors arrive tomorrow!

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for April it's the Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-T10) - the equivalent of a 40mm lens on a full-frame camera.

Even more dramatic viewed on black...
love the light and dark - looks normal to me - Mrs S doesn't looked phased in the least :)

A cozy, well used kitchen. And Mrs. S. looks like the queen.

Not as chaotic as mine always is

Great grab a shot, shot. I also love the inclusion of the camera bag being front and center.

@joysabin Thank you Joy - that's Mrs S's camera bag with her much treasured Olympus OMD-10ii inside.

@annied Not fazed? That would be the glass of wine on the counter in front of her then 😁

I had company for breakfast about a week and a half ago. I had some stuff I couldn't think where to put so I put in my bedroom. It is still there mostly. I swear the kitchen always looks "lived in." Looks like a lovely bright place to sit and ponder or post to 365.

I love other people's kitchens! The more stuff in them the better, yours is perfect!

Great black & white. And a great personal challenge.

Wine and flowers -- its easy to ignore the rest.

Nice portrait - looks like a cosy kitchen as well. Will go and get a glass of wine myself now ...

Tom
I really like this shot, the light and shadow on Mrs. S is quite beautiful, and the business of the work space set off by flowers is wonderful.

I like the high contrast which you have used well to highlight Mrs S's face. Tidying up is only worth doing if you can no longer find what you want!
