PLAY April - Fuji 27mm f/2.8: Weir, Mill, Château... by vignouse

PLAY April - Fuji 27mm f/2.8: Weir, Mill, Château...

...it's all in the title. This was taken at Josselin during an unseasonably warm and sunny spring afternoon.

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for April it's the Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-T10) - the equivalent of a 40mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Interestingly different POV. VML the DOF and the contrasting features of the town and chateau.

@maggiemae This is the river Oust but it is also part of the Nantes-Brest canal, now only used for pleasure traffic. You can see the lock to the right of the photo that bypasses the weir. The mill to the left was built early in the 18thC and milled flour continuously until 26 March 1999 when the mill caught fire and burned out completely leaving only the four walls. It has since been renovated as an apartment building.
