No, we haven't had a fire... but this would be a fair representation of my temperature at the moment!
A few different events have telescoped together to cause problems:
- we were away with no internet connection;
- I fell in the night and collected a few cuts and grazes;
- I'm now told that might have been a mild stroke;
- the next day I awoke with the flu and am feeling wretched;
- in the wee small hours of the following night I awoke with severe heart palpitations;
- now on super strong new heart meds and a battery of tests to come;
I'm not looking for sympathy, I just wanted to explain why, for the first time in three and half years I've failed to post... watch this space!
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for May it's the Sony 16mm f/2.8 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Sony Nex-7) - the equivalent of a 24mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Oh wow you are in the wars. I hope they can find out the cause of your ailments soon.
David was feeling a bit rough a few days ago and he has a deep vein thrombosis in his leg.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Mr. S I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through. Please follow the doctor's advice whatever it may be. I'm sure Mrs. S is quite upset too. I hope all of your tests go well and that you will soon have a clean bill of health. Take care.
Not planning to go out in a blaze of glory are you, Richard? You've done well to miss only a day from 365.. good that you are still PLAY-ing. I love the flames and the textures in this shot. I'll sprinkle you with faves and hope you fully recover soon.
I hope that you are in the mend. Thank you for letting us know, though I'm not sure if you alleviate or aggravated the tinge of worry I had felt at your absence. All the best
I've been behind in reading...so sorry to hear of these issues, but the docs will figure it out. Glad to see you are still posting, and hoping every day is better than the last one!
