Looking out of the window it looked dull and dreary. A 2 minute walkthrough the woods where the Squirrels were scampering through the trees I was on the shore at low tide. Yes initially it looked grey but there was so much life and noise of birds feeding in the shallows. The temperature was a pleasant 14c ( very mild for a November day in the U.K.) and a strong smell of fox as I walked back through the wooded area. Feeling blessed to live where I do.
Our sky is very overcast this morning... just after sunrise we had some nice blue sky and clouds... now it is gray. You've got an awesome shot here... love the texture and detail in the sand.
@marlboromaam at the point where the beach becomes darker is thick sticky mud. There are lots of shells mainly cockle, whelk and mussel shells, so not the prettiest. The beaches have lots of shingle and very little sand.
