I have a problem growing snowdrops as the pesky squirrels seem to like to snack on the bulbs. A dear friend gifted me these in a pot so hopefully when I put them in the garden the surrounding foliage with confuse the squirrels.
Beautiful shot of the flowers. Love your little heart. Can you grow paper whites? They look very similar. The squirrels don’t touch ours. They don’t mind frost and are dormant by the time the heat arrives.
@shutterbug49 thank you. These little snowdrops (Galanthus) grow well once established. The squirrels seem to leave them alone when they have flowered. Paper whites are not a problem to grow.
If you have access to a dog, burying the bulbs with dog hair helps to deter the squirrels.
