I never wear purple. I'm not sure why I made this sweater back in 1986. I have a closet filled with homemade sweaters, none of which I wear. They are all so little. Oversized is in now and all my sweaters are fitted. I haven't been able to get rid of them though. They just sit neatly folded on the shelves with cedar blocks in between.
What a gorgeous piece of work! How wonderful. Maybe you should sell them so they can get out of the closet? Or donate to someone who doesn't have a beautiful sweater, like an Ukraine refugee? My friend Wendy loves the color purple. :)
@gardenfolk Such a great idea about donating these to Ukrainian refugees. On another note, if your friend Wendy would like this sweater, just let me know.
