Caught this early this morning, before she'd woken up! These wasps are a nuisance and it hurts like hell when they sting. I have already disposed of one of these nests from my lavender bush. I suspect it's the same one, as she's just moved upwards. I was stood on a chair to take this. Will be out to remove it tonight!
Ouch. Great shot, but get rid of it. David was stung twice with one of these damned paper wasps and as you mentioned it hurt like hell. My sister in law had a really bad reaction to a paper wasp sting when she lived in New Zealand and ended up in hospital.
