Despite the unconventional nesting site, we have 2 baby blackbirds hatched, possibly three. Mum and dad are very busy with the worm delivery. Unfortunately Ruaridh has spotted them, we keep having to shoo him away. Fingers crossed when they leave the nest it's a day when the cats are indoors
Oh look at that little thing with the big mouth. I guess if you notice the chicks looking like they might be ready to leave the nest you could try to keep Ruaridh in on that day but how much of an expert are you on the timeline progression of chicks??
