Taken on Saturday with the Castle and River Conwy shots. You can just see at the top, Tourists strolling around the top of the Castle walls which bound the town. The tiny red house reported to be the smallest in Britain measures 3.05 metres by 1.8 metres. Formerly the occupant is reported to have been 6ft tall, a local fisherman. The house was still in use up to the 1900. when it was deemed unfit for occupation.
A great shot of a pretty place. My Mother-in-Law is Welsh originally from Anglesey and we have driven through Conwy several times when taking her to visit relatives, sadly we have never actually stopped there so must put that on the list of places to visit.
Lovely shot, we visited Conwy a couple of years ago, we walked round the castle and walked past the little red house with a Traditionally dressed Welsh lady was standing outside, I was also roped into lying down on the ground in a row of people to have a bird of prey swoop long us, nearly took off my nose! I always get picked to do silly things!
@melaniesavage Thanks Melanie. The Traditionally dressed Welsh lady still stands outside, in fact I think she is visible in the scene above. Not sure I could have done the Bird of Prey stunt.
