i am really skeptical in posting this set of photos here on 365. i don't know if people here will find it artistic or just another crappy photo of a nude man.. but as for me, i find this artistic and i am proud i came up with this photo, but please if you find this photo offensive in a way, pls do tell me right away.. and please don't delete my account :p
PLS PLS PLS LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY IF I HAVE TO DELETE THESE 2 PHOTOS FOR I DONT WANT TO BE BANNED HERE ON 365...
@halkia@mollyanne31790 i'm just scared that people might not understand or you know.. stuff... and to know that some kids are using 365 as well... so i am really scared that Ross might get my account deleted.. hihihih i love 365, so much.... ♥ ♥ ♥ THANK YOU!
I'm not really keen on the first one as its a bit too dark to really see anything but the second one is awesome - great lighting, very artistic and very tastefully done.
@maceugenio I think anything that could cause offence is well enough covered, in fact people would probably see more on any beach they may go to during the summer :)
Oh Big Mac these are gorgeous shots!!! Not at all offensive, and certainly an excellent display artistic lighting technique :D Please don't delete! I do have to agree with @kjarn about the first on- it is pretty dark, and hard to make out, but a little bit of work on the lighting would fix that!
I have had a similar concern this week as I have posted nude shots of my friend.... art or offensive? It depends on perspective and I say certainly ART and BEAUTIFUL! Well done.
@rebcastillo77 thank you gorgeous... but the first one was intended to be like that, i just like the hands to be on focus when u first see it.. but i think i failed with that.. hahahha =)) will do better next time, promise! =) thank you again
Babes if that was your intention, far be it from me to take away from your artistic vision. The arm and hand are lit nicely, it's the rest of it that seems dark to me. Like I said though- if that was your intention I think you did a fine job :D Muah!
@maceugenio I think they're both artistically excellent. In fact, I'm going to fave one right now. I honestly think with all the peek-a-boo photos that women post on 365, you have nothing to worry about.
They are beautiful Mac...a teeny bit more highlight light on the first one would be good...but I love them. I like your name too- it's our youngest (almost 17) sons name too :)
@palusami really? i'm the youngest in the family too.. hahahha got my name from McDonald's. i am mac, and my eldest brother's name is donald.. seriously.. THANK YOU TANYA!
@rebcastillo77 yes, i was kind of shocked when u started calling me Big Mac.. hahahhaha i thouhgt u figured out where my family got my name... now am craving for a real big mac and large fries! haah
I think because you focused on the subjects back in a pose that could be used for muscle competition in no way is this offensive to even younger people on the site. I think you also did a good job at having the lighting stop at anything that could be thought of as too much. I think you well respected social boundaries on this photo. I do think like @palusami that a hint more light on the first photo would bring out the subject in a beautiful way.
i agree with everyone about the first picture, the second is good. Lovely lighting, gorgeous skin and muscle tone. Doesn't look you eat too many Big Macs!!! :-)
As a mom w/two young girls on the site, I cannot say I find this offensive. If they see this series and ask anything, it's a teaching point for me. And I cannot honestly think of any reason they would bring this up. There's nothing shown for them to question. Rule #1 when kids are on the internet: mom has to be able to, and will be, looking over your shoulder!
Nothing you wouldn't see on a billboard, hence not offensive...... now there is sooooo much scope for an innuendo about getting your McNuggets out! Oooh Matron!
@brumbe@Cherrill oh thanks... hmmmmm i might wanna tweak it a lil bit more next time.. hahahah thank u very much, but yeah it's not me! hihihi it's one of my male model.. ^__^
alam mo na ang sagot diyan!!!! its ARTISTIC!!!!!! not crappy..... ganda kaya ng lighting!!!! kung mabura ka man d2..... yun ay dahil sa "inggit"!!! just continue wot you love and wot you do.... go ! go!
@indiannie_jones there you go and am pretty serious about it.. i ♥ ♥ ♥ my new name.,. thanks to @rebcastillo77 hahahhaha she baptized me with this name! hahahah
@gavincci salamat ning.... sana maintindihan nila ang usapan natin.. kiyems... hihihihi eh kaloka kasi dito, ambilis maka disable ng account.. hahahha thank u ulit.. yebah
@maceugenio three of my chidren (ages 9, 9 and 12) have projects on here and I don't have any issue with them coming across these photos (or any other nudes I've stumbled across on this website, as they are not the same "nudes" you'd find on other sites.)
Wow! They are amazing - the lighting is just beautiful. I have two small children and don't this would be offensive at all! They see more skin at the beach :)
@maceugenio The bottom one is really great, I love the way the lighting picks out details...
The top one definitely needs to be viewed large, but maybe a little more light to bring a few more details to light? It's an awesome shot, just very aware of the darkness on the subject...
Definitely artistic. I adore the second one, I find the first one a little difficult to see. As soon as I saw them I thought of Bill Henson photographs. Well done :)
Go for it. Kids only have to go to their national gallery to see art which is far more revealing. Check out David in Florence? This is wonderful. Love @faeriemoon peeka boo and that your bro is call Donald - that is so funny! Wonderful work and you love it - we love it too.
I think the three you've posted are great; especially the second one. Tasteful. Not a thing wrong with them. :-) And I'm with Chris - I'd like to know how you set up the lighting, too.
The human form has been art since humans started making art - to admire it is to give a nod to its engineer. Your shots are not vulgar but artistic and absolutely beautiful.
OH GEEZ! thanks guys!!!! u really don't know how thankful i am.... WOW!!! and relieved.. LOL.. really.. thank you.. wahhhhh
@bugik MY GULAY!!! naiintindihan pala ako nito wahhahahahah
@moncooga@shutterbug0810 just a 2 light set up... one as the main and one as the filler, so that some lines that are dark won't blend with the black background.. i basically have my softbox in a rembrandt position (you know when it's rembrandt when it creates a triangle shape on the model's face) it's basically way up there (the light) and a lil on the edge of the model, then the filler is on the other side, to fill some edges.. ^___^
oh didn't use my softbox, am sorry.. it's plain strobes with a barn door, sorry.. makes my work real fast, coz when the light is softer, it tends to scatter all over, even on the background, and i don't want that/ so there you go.. =)
Big Mac, I just read through all your comments, and I think most agree that it is most artistic. I think you exercised good taste, nothing revealed that could be seen as offensive, by most anyway. It is true that there is a young population on here, and we need to be a little careful, but what you have posted so far is done in good taste. I think your work is quite amazing, as is your lighting. You definitely have talent for this type of work. Great job!
@digitalrn yeah, that's what i am worried about, the kids... but with all the comments, some coming from parents of kids who have 365, wow.. it's really awesome... ^___^ thank youuuuuuu!!!
First of-"LUV your new name"..!!second-listen to me BIg Boy....Picasso,MichaelAngelo
Lady Gaga,Madonna,Monroe and the rest of the bitches- did even worst but since they're truly artist -guess,where are they now.?Rich and Famous, well (Some were dead)-and Picasso's nude-all over world galleries & Museums. There are more explicit stuff nowadays on internet, magazines, television and other medias. For me-personally..this is not offensive because it was done in good taste..You are an artist -so.to hell, keep them coming..!!
@jodimuli haha me too love my new name... ^___^ well they say, if u wanna see lots of nudity, go to the archives in Vatican, you'll see lots of them not to mention the sculptures... THANKS JOEY!!! =)
I find your pictures stunning, beautiful and wonderfully executed. You are definitely not afraid to be yourself and expose your vunerability. Hats off to you!
It doesn't offend me at all; it's art, but I have to say in the kindest possible way, that while it is a beautifully executed image it doesn't attract me either. That's the great thing about art - it is what you make of it, and we are all made differently, so keep up the good work!
My goodness - these are wonderful. Especially the latest one that you posted - such bold lines. And, pardon me for saying so, you make a very striking model, (I'm trying to find a way to say that you look great on camera without sounding utterly crass).
Personally, I think that, as in fine art, the nude is a really important theme in creative photography, and that it can be done creatively and sensuously without actually showing any 'censored' bits. This is what you have done. Two of my favourite shots of myself are both nudes, one (a black and white closeup of my exposed breasts covered in mud) is scarcely recognisable as such and hangs on my loungeroom wall - it's rare that anyone picks what it is, and the other, cropped slightly, made a suitable gift for my ultra conservative parents. Nude doesn't need to mean rude.
@microart "....Nude doesn't need to mean rude..." I LIKE THIS ONE! i agree.. but ermmm that's not me! wahhahaha how i wish! lol.... i only have one big tummy instead of abs.. LOL thank you very much!
@maceugenio Most certainly not offensive. I agree with Laura: Beautiful! You have captured the pure sensuality of the naked human body without the grotesque. I absolutely love what you have done and applaud you for your art! YOU GO FOR IT!!!! I long for the day when I have an opportunity to do such stunning low-key shots for someone like this :-) Keep up the great work! You inspire me!!!
these are very good, tastefully shot, and a tribute to an artistic venue. I think that anyone that would find them offensive is just looking for something to be offended by.
i dont think they are offensive at all ...been enough naked babies over the last few weeks..i dont find them offensive just wrong that parents put their naked babies on the internet with all we know today..this is more arty a little more light tho
THANK U GUYS! really thanks for appreciating what i've done and what i came up with... i really wasn't expecting that y'all will somehow like it =) and again thank u!

this would be my last for this set.. i miss shooting other stuiff LOL!!! thanks again for all the support guys.. i do appreciate it.. really... THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
I'm only responding to your question: no offense meant. I have to agree with @jrphotography - these images are not crappy, necessarily, because they are obviously achieving some of the higher technical goals of b/w photography - composition, form, lighting, tone, detail - they are simply, in my opinion, artistically dull, and the imagery is clichéd and overdone.
In the sense that they are 'familiar' types of very clean, predictable nude b/w images (Herb Ritts?), they certainly aren't 'offensive,' and I can see why so many people must like them. But, for me, they simply don't contribute to any aesthetic or enlarge the creative form of b/w nude photography in any way.
I consider this a beautiful shot.
Nice model in the second one too ;)
the second picture is truly beautiful.
@cjwhite thank you carolyn! =)
THANK U LADIES!!!! ^___^
