For many of us who are here for more than two years may remember Ian (@ianrm ) and Kathie (@kathiecb), the couple who are full of wits and kindness. Two years ago due to Ian’s health, both stopped posting.
Almost two years ago Ian (young and healthy) was diagnosed with cancer in esophagus and upper stomach. Ian had surgery last year but unfortunately failed. Last week or so, Ian had his last chemo that failed to stop the tumours growing. He is now waiting for possible clinical trials
I fortunately got in touch with him recently and found he is as funny as ever (who would say “chemo is funny?”) and a true gentleman without bitterness.
I have asked Ian’s permission to post this message (he does not like intruding into other people’s life). But we are a caring communities, aren’t we? Some of you may know treatments or healing methods that may be helpful, please get in touch with Ian through his page ( http://365project.org/ianrm/365#post-comment) if you prefer, or post a photo with gentle and loving wish in this page to him.
I have been meditating for years and I am a true believer of power of the mind. I am calling upon you who have been following Ian and Kathie and also who is yet to know them to send your love to Ian by saying the powerful healing words of your choice, or simple say “Ian, Heal”. Please don’t underestimate the power of your kind messages.
Thank you so much Yao for sharing this....I think of Ian and Kathie often and stop by their project to check in....I will gather all my healing thoughts and send them Ians way....
big hugs Ian ☺
Sending the best possible healing vibes across the ocean to Ian. He sounds like he has a great positive attitude which is so vital I'm happy to share my fiend's daughter story here tonight - today I received the message she has the all clear with monitoring now to occur :) She is only 32 and has 3 young girls, 5, 3 and 2 months ages when diagnosed with lung cancer. Massive chemo treatment twice, radiation and removal of a third of her lung over the past 7 months has been life altering for all families. But throughout her treatment Rebecca was so positive, strong and determined to beat the cancer she is now reaping the rewards :) Keep up the great attitude Ian - you never know what's around the corner :)
Seeing the BIGGEST and BRIGHTEST AND STRONGEST positive energy all the way from Melbourne, Australia. Keep the fight up Ian - you can kick the ass of this hideous disease!
@yaorenliu. Dear Ian and Kathie, I have thought of both of you over the last few years and have truly missed your beautiful photos and posts. You always made me smile. I pray for healing for you, Ian and strength and comfort for both of you to keep fighting. Super thoughts of blessings, peace, and love are being sent to you from me here in Colorado!
Praying for your healing Ian! This is my mother-in-law Rita who is a stage 4 breast cancer survivor and hopefully an inspiration for you to keep fighting. I posted this back in October of 2014 when we did a month of pink photos for breast cancer awareness. May God bless you this Christmas season with health and joy.
Mr. Schultz gave Linus a big present: an undefeatable faith in the Great Pumpkin. Every year Linus would wait in a patch for it to come. And he never was less than certain that it would. So, Ian, wish you many many years in your favorite pumpkin patch!
@yaorenliu May I ask - are you setting up any kind of funding project (Go FundMe or the likes) for Ian? Just thinking that with all the outpouring for them here if we just each gave £/$ 1,2,5,10 it could really add up to something nice for them... But maybe that's just me?
@cottiac Thank you for your generous thought. This post is calling for a pure and loving healing energy, Funding will spoil its pure nature, in my opinion. I have been leaning natural healing for years and have a huge faith it. I wish that the healing energy generated by a pure loving intention will reach Ian. However, if someone set it up for Ian and Kathie. I will be more than willing to participate.
I trust Ian will be in touch with everyone when he is up to it.
I hadn't met Ian or Kathy, but wanted to post that I am praying as I type -- and hope that both can tangibly feel the warmth of our good wishes for them. Praying that Ian will beat this terrible illness and have a full recovery!
Wishing you a very happy New Year (and I really think it will be). I know you aren't very interested in taking photos at the moment but are you interested in editing? Am about to renew and am trying to learn a new editing program which I think includes friends and family - if you are interested I would have great pleasure in sending you the link?
@tremerryn Thank you for leaving the message here, Try to use the link http://365project.org/ianrm/365#post-comment) in which it will go to Ian's emailbox and he will definitely receive it. Wish you a great 2017 and enjoy photography and editing.
@yaorenliu I am so sad for my friend! I will very much miss that wit and humor! I know he will now get that perfect full moon shot! My deepest sympathy to Kathie and family.
big hugs Ian ☺
There are many, many alternatives out there that can be tried - never give up hope or underestimate the power of prayer as seen in Nick's case: http://365project.org/mlwerkheiser/365/2016-11-10
You are so kind.
And thank you Yao for sharing this news.
