Ruth, I am a new follower. I had my surgery December 28th. I wish you as easy recovery as I had, and complete eradication of that wicked disease. A rose for you...
Ruth, I hope this focused attention on you from your caring band of sisters (and some handsome men!) will lift your spirits and start the healing process! On the early days when the going is rough, pick a day in the future...a sunny January day, perhaps...and know in your head and heart you'll be feeling so much better then! Just shows how wonderful this site is when one person can take take out of her day to spare a thought for others. It sets an example that there are really human people out there that can give something so simple but so large. @pixiemac I take my hat off to you for thinking about this and doing something for Ruth. @newbank I wish you well but if you get chance to look at the sun I will have looked at it and sent you a good wish and a hug. Get better soon. I understand what it is like having this diagnosis as I underwent breast cancer many years ago and I am thankful that it has not returned.
