Dear Friday,
I am so glad we are back together.
I am sorry you had to see me with Monday-Thursday
But I swear I was thinking of you
The whole time!
This is an easy and fun challenge open to everyone. Once you have taken 30 or more photos the flashback link will appear in the box below "View this month" under "Photo Details" on your page. Hopefully, as we go back in time we will see that our photography skills have improved and maybe even have a laugh or two at what we once thought was good enough to post.
Click the Flashback View link and it will take you to one of your past photos.
This is a fun and random way to share some of our older work... try not to cheat, and use the first image it gives you, even if you aren't too fond of it! That way we can see how much you have progressed in your photography skills while on the Project.
To share: Underneath your photo is a curved arrow to the right (โฆ). Click on the arrow and there will be an "Embed Code". Copy that then paste it in the comment box below adding any comments if you wish to do that.
My flashback took me back to early December 2012. This was a phone shot taken quickly in a coffee shop. I quite liked it then (I was surprised it had turned out fairly well)! As flashbacks go, there are far worse shots in my repertoire, so I thank the magic fairies they chose this one.
I was just reading the header to this theme. This part struck me, "have a laugh or two at what we once thought was good enough to post." Even now, I post some shots that aren't very good. I am committed to making a new photograph every day. That often ends up with posting something that isn't all that great. I've started tagging them with not-365-masterpieces.
Took me back to a snowy December when I was driving to visit my sister in FARGO -- but appropriate for today because schools in Fargo are closed today -- April 12 -- due to SNOW storm! And clearly, I didn't know how to take or process photos well enough to even remove the vignetting back then (2013).
this one from 2013... i'd forgotten about this one... it's kind of interesting (to me) because it was for a challenge where i was supposed to gather up a huge schwack of things that represented me... there are a number of things that were "me" back then, that aren't really "me" anymore... :)
From August 2016. One of my sons playing Saturday morning video games. Oh, the concentration.
From 2011- it was fun to see what I wrote under it too!
