Thank you to everyone who took part in our Mad-4-May challenge and to all of you who suggested words to Just-4-June. In total we had 407 words nominated and this is how I have compiled our list:
- Firstly I added the words that were nominated for specific dates (for example ’Father’ on the 16th for Fathers Day and ‘Sun Glasses’ on the 27th for Sun Glasses Day.
- I then put some similar words together like ‘Beach/swimming/pool’ and ‘Fruit/Vegetables’.
- I then counted up the number of times that the words were nominated and attaching those to the matching date (for example “Water / Wet” were nominated 7 times so is on the 7th)
- Where there were two or more with the same count, I added these randomly throughout the month.
- Some words that I have not included as they have been used in recent months.
- As agreed in previous months, the following words are bonus words each month; Birthday and Anniversary along with the Star Signs and Birth Stones.
Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 37 words in any order you like, if you wish to.

Sounds like a good challenge. I will try for sure.
Question. I have been tagged in these discussions twice and can't find the tag. Is there a tagging system I'm unaware of where multiple people are tagged but it doesn't show up?
After several months away travelling round the world I'm looking forward to a bit of stability and time to focus on my creative photography again, so this list is very timely. Thank you!
Now I want to know what the first one was!!!
Thanks so much Bulldog - I really enjoyed last month and I am looking forward to this one immensely - some great challenges to meet!
Thanks Bulldog!
I have been photo-tardy the last couple of months ...my goal for June is to try, and try again, to get back on the board.
A photo a day keeps the boredom away.
This list sound challenging to me. Can't promise I will be able to join in everyday, but I'll try my best. It'll be my first word challenge. I am quite excited now ... Thank you!
Once again, I thank you for taking the time and effort to compile a list of daily words. My niece just joined 365 and was wondering where her aunts kept getting "the word of the day." Would you please add her to the list. She is @crewgirl18. I appreciate all you do!!!
Today (6/4) the words are Dairy/Cow/Maid because it's Old Maid Day? My co-worker also tells me it's National Cheese Day. So how appropriate! Sadly, I haven't taken a cheese/dairy/cow photo today, but maybe I'll take one tomorrow and post it on today's date.
Just trying this word fo the day thing this month. It is challenging but fun. Ihad a great time finding a cow as there are lots of dairies in northern Utah. But wedding? Some will be more challenging than others. Thanks so much for all of your effort Bulldog.
But thank you for doing the list again!
@hehe1308
Thanks again for all the time and effort - this list looks a bit easier than May!
Now I just need to see if I can fit the words in with my personal theme of 'ugly'. (After a month of pretty flowers I need the extreme!)
I'll give it a go although I'm off on my hols on 27th so there may be some late postings.
Great list and thank you for all the work you put into it, Bulldog.
, so I have my one challenge to focus on Joy which should easily match a lot of your words too
