There are tons of winning photos in the Artist Challenge gallery this go-round (bet you've never heard that before!), and I must admit I fell for all your fantastic dog shots.

Because there were so many, it was important to look at how Erwitt photographed his dogs; he rarely just took head-on, eye level shot. Often he found a lower perspective that made all the difference.
