First of all thanks to Northy for organising the get pushed partners and keeping the competition going. Thanks too to Wendy (@farmreporter) for choosing finalists from last week.
Below are the five finalists I have chosen, these are in no particular order. I will close voting at the end of Sunday. Thanks everyone.
1. April @aecasey was challenged to create a surreal image. This image is indeed surreal with the lighting and the blank spooky faces of the dolls.
2. Annie @annied was challenged to photograph something of interest on her bush walk - something that wouldn't be seen in the UK. I love that photography is often about being in the right place at the right time. Other times a photograph takes a lot of time and planning. This shot was opportunistic and lucky and fabulous.
3. For this image @northy was challenged to take inspiration from the word 'inside'. This wonderfully set up and executed photo certainly fits that challenge.
4. Andrew-Bede Allsop @allsop was challenged to make a photo that was inspired by a favourite poem or piece of music. There was a lot of thought put into this challenge and the resulting photograph and I love to see the passion coming through into this simple still life black and white image.
5. Kathy @randystreat was challenged this week to take a creative headshot. There is nice simplicity and lighting in this black and white self portrait.
