First of all WOW!!!! If I could write THANK YOU larger I would. What an amazing response to yesterday's photo - I like that shot because it's one of my favourite places in Cambridge (not usually so gloomy!) but I didn't expect such fantastic comments and faves. You're all brilliant!
Secondly I confess I took this yesterday as well. When I took the photo I was really pleased but it was one of those that lost something when uploaded - which is why I worked on the other one woohoo! I was playing with Picnik in this one and normally when I click 'Sepia' I groan and 'Undo' but this time I thought 'Bingo!' Out of interest this is the same place that the man was reading his Sunday papers a couple of weeks ago ( http://365project.org/judithg/extras/2011-11-06 ) there was no sitting around relaxing going on yesterday morning. It might get bumped to Extras if my some miracle I find something on this thoroughly unpleasant day weather wise. And thanks again for yesterday - my Monday was no longer Blue!!
This is fabulous, Judith. Such a lazy feel about it, nicely framed by the branch but it's also very well composed with the zig-zag line-up of the boats leading the eye to the misty bridge. FAV.
nice one...now I feel if I don't fav this you're going to think that I think it's a rubbish shot!! :o) Great editing - love those subtle arches and reflections in the background
Instant fav! Adore this shot and even without my glasses think that front boat is called 'French Hen'. Love it. You're on a roll! Keep the fabulous pictures coming please.
Beautifully named boat & a lovely subtle shot Judith ! I love the hint of the arches in the mist & the quietly resting punts...a very atmospheric picture !! I think I must get out earlier in the morning !!!!
@sparkle Yeah yeah - I know you hate it ;0))) You can't Fav anyway because I've been really photo lazy today and deserve nothing!! No ideas at all for tomorrow :0(
