Film Feb - looking up into the canopy of my balloon
I have always liked the abstract asymmetrical look of this shot.
I have had a busy few days, practicing riding the Vespa, I have been a bit nervous about going faster and of traffic, so after work today I did a practice run of my trip into work, I felt such a sense of achievement, breaking that psychological/fear barrier - and it was easy!
I have also been building a wardrobe in my spare room, assembling several flat packs, almost finished that too. I think it is going to look great and I am looking forward to the extra storage.
Great POV, good luck on the vespa, I used to ride a small step through when l worked at a fuel depot and the truckdrivers all said to drive in the middle of your lane rather at the edge of the road, that way other cars wont try to pass when its unsafe.
Awesome! I might see if I can blow hard enough to get my used one up into the air!!! Will try and post some shots of us hauling it out onto some oval somewhere just to cut it up!!!
Very cool view, like prey getting pulled into a jellyfish. Congrats on the scooter, I ride older dirt bikes but plan on streeting a couple of dual sports I have. There is a weekend road riding class run by the motorcycle safety foundation here in the states, taking it simplifies liscencing and reduces insurance costs. Don't know if you have something similar there, might want to look into it. Be safe!
This is a VERY appealing abstract. Glad you've managed the "dry run" successfully, and safely. you are so intrepid. :-) And my, how handy you are, too. Building a wardrobe, eh? Clever, resourceful, intrepid, and industrious; you sure you don't have any Yankee blood in you? LOL All my best, Les x
