I have scanned some 35mm films now, mainly shot with my Canon EOS 30E 35mm SLR, and a few with a basic p&s Olympus 35mm camera (before the term p&s was widely used .....to my knowledge). I have had a wonderful time reliving my adventures. The cameras were stolen when I was burgled in 2009.
During my posting in Belgrade (around March 2003) I had a 5 day weekend in Prague and took 100s of photos over that time. Many of the shots were of the various wonderful architectural elements. There was a lot of fabulous examples of Art Nouveau, particularly in the area of New Town (Nové město) close to Wenceslas Square.
so sad that you lost your cameras but great that you still have your images, I look forward to more of your travel stories and photos
I hope all is well in Canberra!
Very cool piece of public art. There seems to be a revival of the art nouveau style in some popular culture including works by Range Murata(melding into anime) and the genre of Steam Punk. Given the fish relief elements I guess this could be labelled Stream Punk. :)
Wonderful plaque... wonder if the different elements have a meaning or are just decoration? Fabulous regardless!
(I wouldn't mind a figure like hers but I'll pass on the hat!)
