Scrivener Dam - late afternoon light filtered through the spray from the dam

on my scooter ride over Canberra with camera bag strapped onto the Vepsa I was looking for good places to take a few shots, especially infrared, but I had my dslr and big lens with me and noticed a few ibis coming in for a landing by the stream below the water flumes being released from the dam. The water rushing from the dam sent a fine mist through the air and the whole scene made me think of Japanese or perhaps Chinese watercolours
