Mr and Mrs Bendy have posed for a studio shot in readiness for their Christmas card. This was the best of the bunch the professional photographer took after showing them the catalogue of poses in the Olan Mills catalogues

Olan Mills family portraits were all the rage when I was a kid—very often proudly displayed on a living room wall. Very “sixties”.
