Counting in the Finishers

The sailing club hosts the Slipper Shiver dinghy race, we've done the patrol boat duty for at least 12 years. Today was cold, but dry, and my last duty.
Looks like calmer water than last year. I went back for another look.

So pretty, especially with that light reflecting off the water. I feel like my little ornament on my tree is almost the same as that boat on the right!

Love that blue sail and the sun on the water.

I like the tones in this. They remind me of an old painting. They are muted and slightly hazy. Your "last duty" ... a slightly ominous statement. Hopefully meaning the last thing you have to do that day.

Oh! I was thinking the same as Kathy @randystreat just like an old painting! The lighting is just brilliant.

The light on the water is just so lovely. I guess it is because the sun is so low in the sky. A winter sail! brrr!
