One of several Brazilian jasmine plants on our rooftop. I admire the red ones every time I see them, but capturing them in a photo is a challenge for me. I have trouble with reds for some reason.
A beautiful flowering plant and capture and a great colour. I too find red hard to get right but your shot is lovely, my friends have on of these plants they call it a diplodena.
@wendyfrost Thank you, Wendy. As for the plant ID, to be honest, I don't know my flowers very well, so I use an app on my phone. But I just "googled" "diplodena" and it shows up as being the same as "rocktrumpet," which shows up on my app as an alternate name for Brazilian jasmine. Phew! Why so many names? :)
red flowers are hard to capture, I find not to capture them in the harsh sunlight does help a little bit
