A Fatal Cut

Was this necessary? Our condo board decided that this maple tree, hanging over the drive, posed a risk to drivers and anyone moving under its grand sweeping branches. So the arborists cut it down today. Very sad.

So unnecessary when the tree looks so healthy - surely some form if pruning or re-shaping the offending branches would be more in order!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this is so sad. A healthy tree that has taken years to grow should deserve more consideration and appreciation.

Mostly we are told to replace it when the cut is nessassary. Great shot of a sad cut down.
