Years and years, and years and years, ago eldest was in speech therapy. His favorite therapist was a wonderful man who went above and beyond the normal exercises to engage him. I came across this old birdhouse they built together way back when. It has been well used, and I see the roof is missing. If not for my yard full of cats I'd clean it out and replace the roof, but for now I think it will just hold memories.

What a wonderful man to have such an extra repore with your son. Our granddaughter is in her second year studying speech therapy & I would wish she has as much compassion. Love that silvered weathered look of the wood.
