The girls visited this afternoon, and littlest was in a great mood. She has a wide open smile now, which was on display almost the whole time she visited. My push this week is to take a picture with a vintage ('50's or earlier) quality. To explore what I need to do to get a vintage quality I found the images are flatter, less vivid, and less saturated requiring toned down contrast with bumped up highlights and shadows, along with some desaturation and color adjustments. I practiced here using Nik's Analog FX. Now I just need to find something "vintage" for the subject. I do like how this really brings attention to her eyes.
