Another for my push from Mary "to make a picture with a "vintage" (50's or earlier) quality." This is an old kerosene lamp we have sitting around. The two books are from 1854 and 1869. They belonged to an old Canadian Barrister who moved to this area and set up a law practice in the early 1900's. My father, who took advantage of the GI Bill after WWII, joined him in practice in 1951, and kept the office open until just a few years ago. Processed in Lightroom, Silver Efex, and Analog Efex to try and get an appropriate vintage look to the image. Easier to see my attempt at "vintage" if viewed on black.
Mary @mcsiegle Another for my challenge. I've been relying on natural light, so it was great to be pushed to try for a night image. With shortening daylight, I need to get back into shooting after daylight hours.
