Rummaging in mom's basement we came across a box of old slides from my dad's older brother. Uncle Warren lived in the Ozarks and ran a local newpaper. I think this must have been his living room. I love that old telephone! I set the slide on a lightbox and used my macro lens to take a picture of it, then edited in Lightroom and Silver Efex. I think I'll try to digitize a few more, though this is by far my favorite.
What a treasure to find! No date on it anywhere - trying to remember when those phones were no longer used. I'd guess this was sometime around the late 40's noting the tv. Reminds me of Bill's grandmother's living room.
