Mesquite vessel

It's been raining all day so I looked around the house for a good photo opportunity. This bowl fashioned by craftsman Thomas Frey of Dagsboro DE (pop. 519) is a real favorite of mine. I tried taking the picture with natural light and flash but I liked the interest that the shadow added when using lamp light.
