Today was the annual conference for Independent (private) schools in Virginia. It is always held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. I don't always attend but this year there were several sessions that promised to be worthwhile for librarians. In fact they all turned out to be excellent, outlining the latest in programs, research tools and ebooks for the school library. Nowadays all the presentations are available afterwards online so you don't have to sit hunched over scribbling notes. My colleague and I got lots of food for thought.
P.S. Thanks for your good wishes for my health. My cold is progressing nicely, thank you.
I loved going to the MACSA conferences when I was teaching, so I'm glad this one turned out to be great for you. Glad to hear you're feeling better as well. Nice perspective in the shot to summarize you! Things are looking up!
