Perfect weather for a girls get-together. I took this picture surreptitiously as I was walking by. When I looked at it later on my computer, I was struck by all the different activities taking place.
The little girl on the left is doing something with a phone. I'm afraid I wasn't close enough to read the sign on the box at her feet. Maybe she was giving away kittens or taking orders for pizza.
The two tall girls were in the middle of their own "So You Think You Can Dance?" The radio was blaring and they had just finished cart wheels and were about to make contact.
The girls in pink are apparently choreographing their own routine.
What would a dance competition be without an audience, and the two little girls sitting cross-legged in front fulfilled that role perfectly.
Then there is one youngster, arms akimbo, not quite sure what she should be doing. In the next shot I got she was sprawled out on the grass but how she got from up to down, I couldn't say.
If we could only store up the energy of this group of little dynamos, we might reduce our dependence on foreign oil for the foreseeable future!
This is so cute. It reminds me of when I would get together with my cousins as a little girl and put on plays for all the aunts and uncles. So much fun- not much of a plot line, and everyone doing their scenes simultaneously! Great catch!
Great to see children play outside like we used to do..my grandaughter sits at her computer playing games or is using her phone for texting... this is a great picture and it looks like the girls are having to much fun..in shorts already too...a little too early here altghough we have 75 degree F.
