Actually a friend at church was wearing this gorgeous cut glass pin. She allowed me to take the picture, and when I looked at it as a thumbnail, it reminded me of the Rose Window at Notre Dame. (Check out the thumbnail on the right and you will see what i mean.) A little posterizing completed the effect.
