The students had a week to meet the challenge: collect enough pennies to reach one of the reward levels marked on the treasure chest. Today the volunteers from Children's Hospital carried all the coins back to their office for the final count. I haven't heard officially, but I think the level of coins got to the yellow line which means two rewards--one night without homework and a chance to wear sports clothes to school one day!
I think the students will enjoy the level two rewards. no homework for a day the opportunity to wear sports clothes to school is good way to thank them for their great effort.
In our school it was "casual day" passes. They were almost coveted! lol not a good thing for a Christian school! Congratulations to your students for reaching the second line!
