Now You See It...Now You Don't

At the end of the school year we always host a tea for all our library volunteers, both parents and students. The parents come at 2 PM and socialize quietly. At 2:30 we throw open the doors for the 65 Third and Fourth Graders who help throughout the year. Needless to say, they are not nearly so refined as their mothers. The closest comparison one can make is to a plague of locusts. We try very hard to instill good party manners, and they do remember to thank their hosts, but their enthusiasm for sweets can barely be controlled.
They are good kids and we are glad to have their help so we will keep hosting the party and hope that eventually they will learn a little restraint.
Yummy

LOL, I can just imagine, the calm before the storm, but that's what being a kid is all about.
