To the Victors

All my American friends know that the Super Bowl was won by the Seattle Sea Hawks, the team quarterbacked by Collegiate grad Russell WIlson. It was a very lopsided win, and if you weren't a Seattle fan you probably found the game boring. For Russell's fan club here in Richmond, however, it was very satisfying. Today in the Teachers Room someone had put out M&Ms in the Seattle colors for us to savor anew this great win. Tonight Russell will be on one of the nation-wide late night TV shows. I'll have to record it and watch tomorrow. The celebration continues!
I like the colors

Now this is a cool idea. The seahawks surely did dominate, didn't they?

When I saw the colors in the thumbnail I wondered if it had something to do with the Seahawks. I am not a Seattle fan and I wasn't even planning on watching much of the game, but ended up watching every minute. I was very much impressed with how the Seahawks shut down the powerful Bronco offensive and particularly Peyton Manning. And I admired the maturity of Russell Wilson in such a huge game! Congratulations Seahawks and fans!

Congratulations to Seattle and your local hero, Russell Wilson. He is really a terrific guy and what a stellar performance by him and his teammates. It was a great runaway victory, but I just wish it would have been a little closer to make it more exciting. I feel asleep during the 3rd quarter :-)
