Everyone was in a great mood today because we had a full day of bright sun, warm temperatures and blue sky. We could almost believe summer was coming.
All the activities pictured here were taking place around campus at 11 AM. I had fifteen minutes between classes and found lots of learning going on outside. Two separate groups of our youngest students were busy doing water play, measuring, building and generally using their imagination. Meanwhile the boys and girls in a fourth grade science class were perfecting their frisbee skills, then measuring and calculating the average distance of their throws.
From youngest to oldest, the students were soaking up learning along with the sunshine.
