I met this hunter as he was making his morning rounds. He had caught a squirrel and was hightailing it (or in this case, lowtailing it) to some safe refuge for breakfast. I had gotten to school early, and he and I were the only ones around. We were both startled, and unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to get a shot of his foxy face, but the image is burned in my brain.
Apparently this fox is well known around campus, and the animal control agent has seen him and declared him young and in good health. Must be all those squirrels he eats.
