This is Homecoming weekend at Collegiate with tomorrow's football game against our crosstown rival Saint Christopher. This morning was the annual pep rally, with face paint and crazy costumes in green and gold the order of the day. Everyone from the youngest junior kindergartner to the Head of School participated enthusiastically. After singing, yelling and cheering for our teams, we returned to class. It was not easy, but we actually managed to get some work done!
A week that begins with Halloween and ends with Pep Rally is definitely exhausting. I think even the kids were ready for the weekend!
Great selection of photos--they capture the excitement of the day and make me smile, remembering past pep rallies. It's nice that the whole school participates.
@olivetreeann@bruni yes there were several kids with costumes that covered their faces. I thought it was pretty weird, but since the fabric was thin, they could actually see (and breathe!) I think I would feel claustrophobic.
