The Lower School assembled for a remarkable Veterans Day program this afternoon. Special guests were invited and included grandfathers, aunts, uncles and brothers who had served in the armed forces. Songs representing each branch of the service were played to honor these veterans, and our 4th grade choral group sang God Bless America. A color guard of Boy Scouts from the Middle School carried in our flag, and we all sang our National Anthem.
After the divisiveness of our presidential election, it was especially moving to come together to celebrate our love of county and the individuals who gave so much.
