Thanks to our association with independent bookstore bbgb, children's author-illustrator Chris Van Dusen dropped by school this afternoon to visit with our K-2nd grade classes. We had our students well prepared, visiting his website and sharing his stories. It was a great opportunity for the boys and girls to see the creativity and effort that go into bringing a book to life.
