We landed in Arusha at the Kilimanjaro International Airport at around 9 PM. The Arusha Coffee Lodge where we are staying tonight is about an hour by way of a very busy road. At the lodge we were greeted with cups of iced coffee and this beautiful pool in the front courtyard. We toddled off to bed right away, trying to catch up on 2 days of travel. Hopefully tomorrow we see lots and lots of animals!
@Weezilou Too bad I don’t drink coffee. This lodge was next to a coffee plantation, where they hand pick the beans. Everywhere we have gone we have been greeted as we arrive with a special welcoming drink — passion fruit, orange juice and other refreshing flavors and a cool towel to help us feel better. I feel like royalty!
