A hard rain all morning kept me from replenishing the empty bird feeders. There was plenty still out there in several feeders so I didn’t feel too guilty, but as the rain began to let up around noon, I did go out and lay out more seed on the ledges where the little birds like to go first. Syd the Squirrel was also pleased I had fulfilled my duties. In fact he was so happy, he brought 2 friends along! These pictures, however, are all Syd. Note, that despite his enjoyment of the buffet, he still took the opportunity to shoot me a baleful look to indicate his displeasure at my tardiness.
