When I was in college a favorite recipe from the school kitchen, loved by all, was a cranberry coffee cake made with fresh berries and topped with a sugar crust. On the occasion of a significant reunion, the secret recipe was published on the alumni site and what better time than Thanksgiving to make a treat with fresh cranberries? So here it is, as good as I remember it.
