My get pushed challenge this week was: shoes. Earlier in the week, I photo my youngest in the cutest hot pink cowgirl boots ever. Tonight, I had a fun session with my hubs and some sexy heels.
I only wish that my shoes were clearer. I had the timer on, ran into position and I guess the shoes were still swinging. Stupid shoes.
I'll post mine a bit later, bit hungover this morning and cant decide which pic to put on, keep uploading then deleting?? When my head clears I will sort it, lol
@m9f9l Aw, thanks, Mary. Running, lady! It's funny that you should mention his shiny shoes...a girl that attended our wedding as a kid says that she will never forget his shiny shoes that he had on that day. These in the photo were his interview shoes that he wore with his new suit only a few times. They are still in great, shiny shape.
@cromwell This was the fun session...but considering other shots for the future. Interesting concept. Hmmm....I can't imagine what it would be that the cats can't see, though;-).
@tbats22 Thanks, lady! Hope it was still tasteful.:)
@tryeveryday Thanks so much, Michelle. Really appreciate your comments. Yes, running is good for the legs...
@bpaquette They were sawing zzzz's for hours. We were safe and kept it tasteful. I was originally thinking that we would do the shot outdoors at the door, but yeah...it was frickin' freezing out there so inside it was. Thanks, lady!
@archaeofrog Aw, good of you to say that. Thanks, my friend!
@adamj Thanks so much, Adam, for the fav and wonderful compliments to the photo!! You made my day on one that I am just not feeling it. It's cold, rainy and gray here.
@amandalomonaco Hi Amanda. It's cold, windy, and dark here! Can't wait for Spring. You do great work. Looking forward to sharing exchanges with you. Stay warm ;)
Just thought I would ask...planning on a reprise or new artistic vision of this shot. When you have such a lovely pair of legs and you're a photographer, it's a natural :)
@adamj You know what kinda bums me out (so not a big deal, but...). This one never made PP. It should have:). How cool would it be to get your legs up on PP;-).
@amandal Yeah, I would imagine that would be very flattering and a special personal feel good kinda thing. I completely understand your disappointment and agree about the PP.
Critique notwithstanding, I like this photo. It's really intimate and suggests real connection, and yes, sexy time, haha. The sepia is an interesting choice, I see it as a blast from the past kind of thing, maybe even a memory. And there's ambiance in the lighting, so overall spot-on!
@gailmmeek Thanks so much, lady. I had this image ripped apart in my first photo club meeting. It was up on the big screen. 1st image of the night and it was my legs larger than life. I wanted to die.
@amandal Oh no, seriously? I love it... the calves are well accentuated, the toes are perfectly tipped, you leaning into him... the whole thing really works for me. Oh well..... can't please 'em all, can you. Boo them and get on with having fun!
Get idea and well executed!
Great photo
