Wowie, I am almost embarrassed to put this one up here. Let me emphasize that this was a dramatization and I actually tried to look that awful on the left. I may have over acted a tad.
My tricky push this week was as follows: photo of a bad or nervous habit you do/suffer using selective coloring if possible.
How impossible for one who has only good habits;-). Ok, so I do have a few vices. Needing/wanting coffee every morning and afternoon is one of them. Can anyone relate?
Awesome capture. Lmao over here, cause I know exactly how you feel. Coffee is my biggest vice, especially since I usually only get about 3 to 4 hours of sleep a day. You could have added a third pane showing you angry, raging cause someone stole your coffee or you ran out. Lol
@losthorizon I lost a follower over this ugliness. Ugh. Thanks and glad that you can relate. You need more sleep!!!!
@squamloon I'm not gonna show my really bad ones. I considered doing some joke ones with a rolled up dollar bill and some baby powder or a wine bottle in a brown paper bag or something like that. Thanks, I edited it off somewhere else in my photo and pasted it on the tooth. I wanted a ching smile;).
@losthorizon I'm not going to call anyone out, but it was a brand new one. Shucks. Oh well. Now that they know the real me, they don't like it. Off to drink more coffee to get over it.
Love your gusto Amanda :) Yes. I can relate. Specifically to the coffee dilemma. The first cup of the day is "free". In other words, no harm, no foul. It's the subsequent cup(s) that MAY cause some long term issues. have I rationalized this enough yet? My firm has these amazingly wonderful coffee/latte/cappucino/whipped cocoa/everything delish fancy machines on every floor (40). They are free and fully stocked. need I say more?
@fueast I want your before photo. I can't believe how bad I looked in this one. Actually, the after one kinda stunk, too. Glad to see you on here again. Hope you get your coffee soon:). Happy weekend!
@adamj I tried to get some legs in the collage, but couldn't figure out how.;-) Your work coffee machine sound marvelous. We brew it good and strong at home and I flavor it with natural creamer. Not as fancy, but delicious.
@helixconcepts Hey, lady...I finally pulled something off. Not such a major vice or nervous habit (I don't have any of those to speak of or that would be easy to photograph). I may have one more trick (idea) up my sleeve. Man, did I take some ugly selfies for this one!:) Happy weekend!
@amandal You're mean. Leaving me with that thought of what could have, check that, should have been...lol. Yeah, the whole coffee thing is funny. I never liked coffee until I got a promotion 20 years ago. My days at the office grew longer and the rest is history.
@adamj Next time...My coffee habit was purely social until I started working...and then a complete necessity when I was up dealing with kids first thing every morning (and sometimes in the middle of the night). Happy weekend.
@l2lumom Thanks so much, Traci. Glad that you get it and appreciate this one, too:). Happy weekend!!
Love it! Great expressions in both! I can't relate to the coffee addiction though. If you can believe it, I have NEVER tasted the stuff! I don't like the smell and have always avoided it. I'll have a cup of tea once in a while though.
Such a great dramatization!! I had a good laugh when I just took a break to scope out 365 for a few minutes. Yours popped out! I love the smell of coffee but fortunately (as a Type A hyperactive person), not the taste. If I liked the taste, who knows what I'd be able to get done! I'm the tea person in the family, my husband the coffee rep.
@soboy5 I thought to do something off the wall like drinking a bottle of wine from the bottle in a bag or a rolled up dollar bill or something. What a tough challenge, though to show a bad or nervous habit and have it something that you want the world to know.
@masosy Hubby keeps saying it looks like I have something in my teeth. Oy. I did a fast cut and paste from a sparkle effect that made my earring look that way so I got a bit of the ear in there and slapped it on my tooth anyway. This isn't for a frame. Glad that you liked it, Kate!:)
hehe ...on the left side ..."heh, what? what did you say? I can't hear you ...haven't had my coffee." right side .... "yes dear, sure, I'll be happy too ;)"
great shot!!!
Well Amanda, I do believe you nail that one right on the head! Great shots, and A+ on push. I`m right with ya on this shot.
Really good, love your humor!!
@helixconcepts So so glad that you liked this. Thank you!!:) Fun, different push. I still hope to get in one more tonight, though we will see if I have time.
@thirtysevenways That cracks me up. So sorry that you had to explain it to your kids. Glad it was a relatively clean thing to explain and not me with a needle or something awful.
@kwind You don't like the smell??? Even before I liked coffee, I loved the smell. I drink it all dessertified and it is quite delicious. How I would love to have a coffee date with you and talk camera shop:)!
Hahaha :oD This made me smile as it's me to a tee! When I visited my daughter (who drinks only tea incidentally!) I was made a coffee in the morning and wondered why I still felt awful. Turns out she only has decaffeinated in the house...what's the point! ;o) xx
@happysnap You crack me up. SO funny, Linda. Thank you!
@taffy That's funny that your hubby sells the stuff and you don't drink it. I am so Type A, too...we'd have fun:)! Thanks and glad to give you a laugh!
Ha ha ha! This cracked me up! I just love your zombie expression on the left and yes, the sparkle is awesome. Too funny and GREAT response to your challenge!
After seeing your post on @marco17 's page I had to come check it out! Hilarious! Very funny before and after! I dont drink coffee, but I feel like your first picture if I don't get a little taste of chocolate every day! :)
Love the little sparkle. :^)
