I've been wanting to get a cute photo of my sweet thumb sucker for years. I've taken bunches, but really liked the pov of this one. Clara's like Linus from Charlie Brown dragging her blankie around and sucking the thumb. We call it her 'sumb' (as that is how she used to pronounce it). Often I have to tell her to stop sucking her sumb (we only let her do it when she sleeps).
I've been exhausted for the past few or more days. We started the weekend going out to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday and stayed out later than usual. Then we traveled for the weekend and hung out with old friends staying up way too late playing cards and laughing. Good times, but I am pooped. Looking forward to a good nap, a decent night's sleep tonight (even though I get up to run at 5:30 am tomorrow:( and to feel better rested and back on track again soon.
It's reassuring to hear that someone else gets tired after late nights but I fear I am a few decades older than you! Meantime, this is a cute image and it reminds me of one I posted last week of my grandchild awaiting the arrival of Mummy on the plane.
@amrita21 Sheesh, I need to. I've been having exhaustion headaches! And today they are reroofing my house so all the banging is NOT helping. Thanks, sweet friend:)!
@adamj I woke her up from nap and she was groggy. She doesn't get the benefit of coffee like I do after my nap and in the morn. Is it wrong to make my 4 year old pump iron?;-)
You know what? Ever since your post on you are what you eat, I've been making healthier decisions when eating out. Often I am getting a veggie option. Last weekend, I ordered a veggie burger and it was pretty good. Thanks, I think.
@adamj See above first...I am so out of my game work out wise. Almost a week off due to various things. Tomorrow morning I run again finally. Looking forward to some much needed activity.

@adamj I did take the 8 year old running with my last week and then out for a photo date of the sunset. It was pretty amazing to share that with my child. Thanks, man. Really appreciate it. And I will have Clara curl the building blocks:). P.S. I am really stinking at time on here lately. Busy weekend where we were gone for much of it (or had friend's visiting). Hope to be better.
@bardejov My other 2 didn't. I love the thumb sucking from a cuteness perspective. Not so much what it is doing to her teeth. Braces are in our future...for all 3 really.
